Stanley Greene was a well-known American photographer and photojournalist. Having been repeatedly described as a “poet”, he was a visionary and a heartfelt artist who found great underlying truths which concern all of us in some of the darkest moments of the times he lived in. He covered the conflicts in Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iraq, Somalia, Croatia, Kashmir and Lebanon. He documented the genocide in Rwanda in 1994 and the aftereffects of Hurricane Katrina in the US.Français

English
